Once again, Gary, well done. Always love your photography. The grouse photos and video clips were impressive.

Yeti and Big Tim, thanks for taking a look! Yes, the grouse cooperated nicely... you would never know I was sitting right next to the latrine to get the shots :-)

Well, that stinks, Gary! :) This was a really good one, I enjoyed the bonus video. The grouse one was really good, and I enjoyed the ones just paddling around because it was so much like when I'm there and just paddling along by myself. I got so relaxed watching it. Thanks.

Another winner!

Really enjoyed all the bird pictures and, of course, the prodigious stacks of firewood. :) Thanks for taking the time to put this together, it is much appreciated.

Stunning! Your images and video capture the essence so well. How did you capture the video of the grouse strutting and drumming?! That was incredible.

And I want to thank you for vacating your farthest out site on that rainy final Saturday morning. My husband, son, and I paddled in that Saturday morning and ended up at that site for 2 nights and it was beautiful. We did a day trip paddle around the whole triangle on Sunday.

Thanks for watching! The grouse was fun to watch/ photograph. Paul hiked up the latrine trail and told me the grouse was on a log just beyond the latrine. After watching from a distance, we saw he had 2 favorite logs... one had lots of branches in the way but this one had a decent angle.
I was able to take my camp chair and tripod and wait... didn't take long before he was drumming up a storm... oblivious to me. Tech. details: Canon R5 body with 100-500 lens, set to 400mm.

Glad you could stay at the site... we liked it too. I think we even left you a little firewood :-)

Yes, given the wet weather, we were very appreciative of the fire wood. I made some perfect biscuits (and gravy) for breakfast the first morn.

My favorite trip reports are slide shows and no one has done it better than you.

I have enjoyed all your slide shows. Hope you have another trip planned for this season.

Very nice, thanks for sharing.

Thanks John! Not everyone prefers the slide show format, but mine go back to the late 70s when I actually did slide shows with screen and projector for friends... the old tech. way :-)

As for other trips this season, the plan is 2 trips with the grandkids and a fall trip with the guys :-)
