I’m going in at #47 Lizz/Swamp. I haven’t decided where I will end up.

Can’t speak for the BWCA and Quetico bodies of water but the Smallies are on their beds on the Wisconsin River and small lakes in northern Wisconsin.

Just got off the water yesterday after a week in the southern Q. Bass weren’t quite on their beds in cold, deep Agnes early in the trip. Bass were beginning to get on their beds in North Bay of Basswood it seemed. A few smaller lakes the beds were already vacated.

Thanks for the report. It seems that with the warmer spring the spawn is going to be over earlier this year.

Just back from a Beaverhouse to Batch trip. Most bass beds had clouds of fry on them.
