My two sons and I are headed to Iron in a few weeks. If anyone is able to post or PM me a few things about Iron I'd appreciate it. We went 4-5 years ago and had a good time. I know we like to fish the river to the East. We prefer walleye and northern. Thanks a lot!

Iron is my second favorite lake for fishing walleye because if you can find the structure close to deep water on that lake in July it can be lights out walleye fishing especially sun up and sun down. Quite frankly we drifted these spots from shallow to deep with the wind to find the fish and once we found them some switched over to slip bobber and leech.

Great fishery and if all else fails, fish around the falls and that's a sure fire way to get some fish for dinner.

My preferred jig colors with that color of water is 1. Gold 2. Burnt Orange 3. Black

Preferred twister tail color is black

My favorite crank colors to drag are 1. purple/gold combo 2. gold
