I am looking to get into hammock camping and have been scouring the forums to find a hammock that sounds like it would best fit me. I currently own a 4 person Alaskan guide tent, heavy as hell, so the weight of the hammock set up is not a huge factor to me because it will be way lighter than what I currently use.
I am a mover when I sleep, going from side to back to belly and back to my side so I have really been looking at the bridge style hammocks. For a few weeks I had my mind set on the WB Ridgerunner but then I stumbled upon the Amok Draumr and that looks like it could be a solid option too.
Does anyone have any thoughts on either of these two or any ideas of other options out there that are similar? They are both at the very top end of what I am willing to spend so any cheaper options out there would be greatly appreciated as well.
Thanks in advance.

I had a draumr for a brief spell, but I ended up selling it because I didn't like the exit/entry process (though I suspect one would get used to it over time). Once settled, it was very comfortable and a pretty flat lay.
Can't speak to the ridgerunner.
I ended up with a warbonnet xlc and it suits my needs perfectly.

I sleep in a double layer RidgeRunner with an extra wide pad and love it. I’m also a restless sleeper and don’t have a problem with excessive swaying. After hearing me say how great it is both my trip partners bought the same setup and also love it. I have no experience with the Draumr.

What size tarp do you use for your ridgerunner?

I have both the Draumr and Ridgeline and enjoy both. In terms of comfort I give the Draumr a slight edge. However, I currently use the Ridgeline for canoe trips because I consider it more flexible - doesn’t require a pad. For the Rudgerunner I went with a Winter Haven tarp from Simply Light Designs. Overkill for most situations but can easily put it in porch mode in warmer temps. For the Draumr I have the Draumr tarp and Exped pad. I did buy poles for the Draumr tarp so I could also put it in porch mode. I much prefer entry and exit on the Ridgerunner as well as general camp setup and function.

Do you have the amok air pad and tarp as well or do you use something else? "
I use the Amok pad and tarp. The tarp could be a bit bigger, IMO, but it does the job. I would like a little more width to retain visibility in driving rain. It buttons down nicely, and I've never gotten wet.
The pad you use matters a lot. I recommend just buying theirs. I bought the winterlight, and it works great. The pad needs to have longitudinal baffles and fit snugly in the sleeve. Amok has a list of compatible pads on their website.

I also use the 13foot Superfly with my RR, except I have the internal pole mod. I’ve been happy with it.

The Ridge Runner is lighter, cheaper, and doesn't run the risk of a pad failure ruining your trip, as they are unusable without a pad. The Draumr might have an edge in comfort but that is subjective. Draumr can use closer spaced trees, but also needs closer spaced trees so depends on area.
