SunrisePaddler: "LindenTree: "Didn't think it would take this long. An inlet stream flowing into this east side lake.

That looks like Sag Falls flowing into Big Sag"
You got it SRP, didn't think it would take that long. I tried to be evasive with my first pic or it would been a give away. We cut/brushed out that portage there super good last August, made it like a highway. We stayed on Government Island while on Sag Camping for 3-4 nites. One day we paddled over 20 miles and my partners hand watch counted 35,000 strokes. My first pic zoomed out.
May the rivers be crooked and winding, and your portages lonesome, leading to the most amazing view.

Wow, thanks for all your work, LT. Cool memories.
These we’re great pics and I agree the first zoomed pic would have been a dead giveaway zoomed out.
I did the Granite River route in 2022 and took the same sag falls pic. No wonder your pic rang a bell.
Especially memorable was hooking this feisty guy above the falls.
Here’s a view of the falls looking north in sag.
Okay, enough of my journey down memory lane. Onward to NTL 96!
