Hey guys. I was wondering who from this board was planning on attending NW's potluck on Harriet island tonight. Need some design ideas for my canoe. Was hoping I could pick some of your guys brains and see your canoes. Here's a link.

Sorry, planned on going but am leaving for Scout camp this PM. Would be a good time to talk boats and building. I am holding out for a new tandem tripping boat that NWC is working on for later this year. You can take the plans and build a 16,17 or 18 footer from them. Will have differental rocker and be assymetrcal from what I have heard.

Wish some of us builders lived closer together. Might be kind of fun just to do this (pot-luck canoe gathering) on a semi regular basis. Take each others' various canoe models out for a test drive etc.

Brats, burgers, steaks, coolers. Hmmmmm.
