I finished it just in time for the lakes to freeze up :(
It is the Maine Guide Canoe model. 17' long 34" wide
The decks/thwarts/yoke are figured birch. Pretty stuff.
The inwales are Sitka Spruce and the outwales are ash. Of course, the whole canoe is white cedar.
I hand-caned the seats too. It weighs 74# and took about 100+ hrs to build.

You sure have a knack for crafting eye-candy!
I really like the looks of the tapered inwales and tapered ribs.
