That was our group that left the firewood! We were on Wonder over Memorial Day weekend and left a nice big stack. It was about 3 times that size at one point. My friend brought a full sized axe and we were able to split 8-10" logs from some of the many downed trees around there. I'm glad it went to good use (it was a lot of work :)

Nice report. I thought we'd be the only ones that went to Sunhigh lake this year. I don't think that area gets much use.

Sweet story. What a great place to get engaged. And MWD is awesome for leaving all that wood.

Nice to hear about an area I'm not very familiar with. Fresh stacks of wood are such a welcome...like someone saying "welcome back".
