Wow, I take bad pictures so it doesn't take much to impress me, but those pictures are awesome.
You should teach a class at a wing shindig, I'd go for that.

Wow! Amazing photography. Thank-you. I haven't seen pictures in a long time that actually made me feel like I was there. Good write-up as well.
Thanks for that trip to the Bdub!
It is much appreciated.

I'll betting you'll be going on another solo, 72 hours of boredom notwithstanding. ;-)
Did you stay on a campsite on Horseshoe that is way over past the entrance to Vista? On the way to the Brule River? (I think it's the Brule...)

haha, I'm sure you're right.
The first few nights I stayed at that site. VERY secluded. The Brule was a fun paddle.

Your photography is always so amazing! The time lapse stream of the stars in the bare tree is really haunting.
We went in to the same lakes just 4 days after you came out. Thankfully the fire ban had lifted by then as we had snow and 20's for am temps the first couple of days.

Absolutely stunning photography - thanks for sharing. Although I've never done a solo, I can relate to being windbound. It's just another part of the adventure!
