Who is hanging on Father's Day?

Since the wife does not camp, I'm staying home with family. But, I'm getting out next week (my fathers day gift).

Not unless it's on the deck today. Working on some hammock gear tho. I made some of these hooks up last week out of titanium and working on the berry knot to attach them.




Making them for attaching one end of my tarp ridge line, attaching tarp to ridge line, and the same for the Lean 2+ that we got his year. I made the holes to fit CCS line.

Took a nap in the yard after lunch in the hammock, if that counts.

I sure wish I was! I'm awaiting the arrival of my new blackbird and superfly! This wait is killing me!

I was camping, and decided it was in memory of my dad. He loved being outdoors, loved camping, and probably would have enjoyed the hammock.

I even did some canoeing...something else dad liked.

For the first time I set up the tarp w/a ridgeline, using pruiks and s-clips. That worked. I think I could go with lighter line for the ridgeline, though. I also need to get better at my knot typing. The "I just made up this hitch" only works to a point.
