Due to work it's been a while since I've been home but there hasn't been much snow since so I would guess slush is rare. Check out the North Arm Trails (up the Echo and down the North Arm Road a mile or so past Slim Lake entry) for some fantastic wilderness trails.

We got out yesterday at Hidden Valley Rec Area for a quick morning ski before heading home from our 4 days in Ely. Above zero, green wax, absolutely perfect trail conditions. On our Saturday hike out to the pictographs on North Hegman, no slush evident whatsoever.
