Saw something whit and unfamiliar in the dried fruit section at Trader Joes. Coconut strips. Very flavorful and not too sweet. Think I'll put a pack in my pack for trip planned for September.

I've had them before as well. They're a pleasant snack, but not sure if they bring much to the table nutrition-wise, and at $1/oz they're not cheap either. I was munching on them in the car and before I knew it that 2oz bag was gone. :)

I've bought them at Wallmart before, probably not overly nourishes but sure taste good pack light, I mix mine with peanut M&Ms, and dried fruit. FRED

Well, at least very little sodium, no cholesterol, and lots of fibre - so not "bad".
