Heading up to Ely in a few weeks with my daughter for a mom/daughter trip so to speak. There will unfortunately be no canoeing, but am looking for input?

We are staying at VNO
Plan to visit the Bear & Wolf centers
Plan to hike out to Kawishiwi Falls

Any other thoughts or tips?

Also looking for others who have hiked out to Kawishiwi before.
