I picked up some Deschutes Jubelale, Lagunitas 12th of never and Indeed Stir Crazy. We are going to our cabin on Friday so I splurged on a 4 pack of Founders Backwoods Bastard to enjoy in the woods. How about you? Hope you all have a great Thanksgiving! Cheers!

Schell's Snowstorm ( a British-style ale) for our family Thanksgiving. I really like it this year.

I tried something new to me. Uinta Hop Nosh IPA. It was ok.

Yesterday I went and grabbed some Castle Danger Ode for our day of putting up Christmas decorations. I really like Castle Danger selections.

Nice! Just finishing up my Fresh Hop I brewed. I used first year Warrior hops to bitter and it came out pretty low on the IBU's. I added lots of Cascades from 30 to 0. Came out ok.

Its always difficult to judge acid content on homegrown hops. I tend to add more than the recipe calls for but I am a "hop head".. Cheers!

Jubelale was also my offering for this weekend's gathering. Loved viewing its yearly label artwork history over the years on display when we toured in Bend a while back; never more than slightly impressed with the annual beer. Since it's slightly different year to year, I thought I'd give it another try. Not so good... I thought this year's work to be over-spiced, but others said it was 'okay.' Not a ringing endorsement. Fine in small tasting glasses pre-dinner.

I love Jubelale. I don't think they use spices though?

It's the Bravo and Tettnang hops which provide (from the description on Deschutes' site): its "warm spiciness."

I experimented with Trader Joe's Providential Belgian Style Golden Ale. I found it better than I had expected and will be tempted to buy it again.
