Sunday June 28. Woke up to 55 degrees with heavy wind and rain. Not much to tell about this day except very windy and wet. Stayed in the tent reading and writing until 11 am when we decided we would get some breakfast. Fresh eggs and bacon with hash browns....pretty darned good. Saw 2 canoes across the lake going toward the Emerald portage. This is last people we would see for almost 4 days. Goofed around the campsite all day and read. Sure wished I would have brought 2 books. Had a dinner of cheeseburgers very good. Off to bed early to read and help hold the tent down Mike coming out of the woods after his 1st trip to the .......
