Monday, June 20, 2011 Although the girls were so sore from paddling they went to bed early last night they woke up to today feeling great. As we headed east on Quetico lake a cool drizzle fell on the water. Little wind though. turning south at the east end of the big lake we portaged into Jean and got the campsite at the narrows. This has been a great site for me in the 1980's, fabulous fishing, the best northern lights imaginable and the largest snapping turtle ever. But not this trip. We get in a frigid swim but no fish.
