Here we go, this should be easy so I'll wait for a few guesses for the next clue. East side, photo looking northwest.

Gunflint Trail is the best way to reach this small lake, fairly close to the border. Good spot for moose and Northerns.

Can't get much closer to the border than that, can you? Good guess, but no cigar!

This lake is within what's now a PMA. it wasn't the first time I visited, but was last time. If you ever fish there, this fella may go after your catch!

If coming from the east, you go through this narrows to reach the portage into this PMA. There were a couple pretty close answers. And the Seagull and the canoe are not "clues," they just happen to be on that lake.

I guess we'll all be kicking ourselves when the lake name is finally revealed!

Sorry, been working so hadn't checked the board, "GIFT" it is; Howardsprague and Wrestlencanoe were knocking on the door! Sorry, Howardsprague, I might have "fibbed" about it being "Easy" (LOL)?

Mocha: "where is that lake?"

Off of Hansen. The narrows is between Ester and Hansen. There's a portage to the south and I remember Gift, Fish, and Faith. Stayed on Gift 2 nights in the '80's and visited it to fish northerns and look for moose (successfully) a couple other times.
