Hello fellow paddlers! New member here. I thought I would introduce myself.
My name is JWILDER and I am addicted to the BWCA. I have been lurking on this site for a couple of years now. I have gleaned a ton of knowledge and have had hours of entertainment. I have taken plenty and it is time to contribute and give back!
I look forward to future discussions on the place we all love and cherish!

Welcome JW! Enjoy the board. Lots of good people and information here.

GraniteCliffs: "Welcome to the Board!!
Can’t wait to hear your take on issues of the day. Earth shattering issues like innie vs outie. "
Yes, very important issues. What a great community and platform to discuss and wrestle with such topics :)
If I might add, my current setup has both...

pswith5: "Welcome, is this the jwilder from "romancing the stone"?"
Ha Ha! THIS JWilder is not affiliated with, or related to anything outside of BWCA.com or the BWCAW itself. He finds his joy in wilderness tripping and edifying discussion on related topics. He Iives for the peaceful and serene dip of the paddle on a lake of glass. The sound of loons as the sun sets over the boreal forest after a long day. The crackle and glow of a small fire when the darkness of night has set in. The sound of something outside your tent in the middle of the night. (NO, just kidding, that one creeps me out!) That first sip of coffee in the morning watching the mist rise off the lake. This is where his contentment is found, where living with less is more.
Thanks everyone for a warm welcome!
J
