Not a great picture but looking more west than south from the same campsite. Extra hint: This lake is often mislabeled as the larger lake it is connected to....by water.

One guess is in the neighborhood so far. Think "major canoe route"

This is looking east.

Some great guesses so far. This lake can easily be reached from an EP on the Ely side of the BWCA.

The lake that this lake is connected to (by water) has a portage named after it.....the loon picture is looking in the direction of the eastern portage out of lake 125.....

Marble :)

(It couldn't be that easy, could it? Does the BW even have a Marble lake?)

Ely and north, connect by water to a larger lake with portages in and out and fairly shallow.....

Yes....west of little sag....pma lake

06/10/2021 09:57PM
Leaving this lake to the east, you will cross four monumental portages to reach a really sharp lake with grand slam potential....

Seed. I never realized there was a campsite on Seed. It looks like there is at least one on the Querico side. It doesn't have a rating on the map.

Oh thank god! :)

I have a canoeing trip coming up this weekend and I thought I'd just have to post the name up and go!

Carp is the lake.

I camped at the one site on Carp with my family and we fished the Canadian side (with a permit from PP) for a day. Caught a monstrous pike on that lake.

Anyway, Saberboys is the winner of lake 125!

Better late than never! Finally nailed the last one of the season!
