Nothing beats reorganizing the boxes on a cold winter night.

This is my go-to setup for the BWCA. I use the foam gun case to protect my two-piece poles and it also holds the collapsible net. The PFD has pockets for smaller tackle containers and I keep the larger container(s) in my pack. Been enjoying crankbaits that we pull behind the canoe, and soft plastics that we throw near structure.

The clear bag tackle box has gone on most of our trips.

Nothing beats the top water action of the Hula Popper! Photo was taken on Isabella Lake in the north bay behind the small island campsite.

Homemade specialty BWCA flies: leeches, crawdads, and minnows...oh my!
