I have to say, this lake is WAY prettier than Kiskadinna. Maybe that's just my opinion.
Here's a shot looking WSW. Two portages connect this lake to others.

I was biting my tongue when you guessed Wench which is just over the hill. Cam was a good guess, too. I love this whole area - Gasket, Cam, Wench, NT, and the NW corner of Brule.

Now I _really_ need to go there! I was planning on my first solo last fall, entering on Brule and staying on S. Temperance, then up on Cherokee, and looping down through Town/Vesper/Cam/etc. It ended up not working out, and my first solo this spring is in a different area, but I think that loop (or something like it) may have to be on the short list for next year, or a spontaneous fall trip this year.

I'll have something up this evening!
