Has anyone received their Winter issue of the Boundary Waters Journal? I haven’t seen mine yet. It seemed like the Fall issue also came later than normal. Before they used to show up on the first of the season.

To the best of my knowledge, target dates are: January 1 (Winter issue) , April 1 (Spring issue), July 1 (Summer issue), October 1 (Fall issue)
I have not received mine in East-Central Iowa, but it should come any day.

edit: it was in the mail today (Jan. 3)

I still haven’t received my issue here in Ohio. I heard that people in Indiana and Illinois have received their copies. I guess I will give it a few more days before I call them.

That’s just so crazy with these random delivery days. I ended up calling them, they said 3 other people called on Thursday asking where their issue was. They said they would mail me another issue. I will keep you posted. :)

Nice of them to send you [another] issue! Makes me wonder if the problem lies with the post office? I re-upped for 3 more years thinking maybe I'd accidently misread my renewal date (I hadn't). Good karma - got it the next day :) !

I called them 10 days ago and told them I hadn’t received my copy yet and they said they would mail another. Haven’t received that issue either. Not sure what’s going on. You should give them a call.

My daughter's got me a gift subscription mid December 2024. I have yet to see an issue. I've called several times and either no one answers or some takes my name and number. No one has called me back. I've also emailed, but I get no response. I'm starting to get a bit concerned. Poor customer service.

USPS is having MAJOR problems at multiple distribution centers. Indianapolis is ground zero, with alledged millions of parcels on indefinite hold. I have had two tracked items scanning in and out of the center every day since December. Anyone using USPS for shipping right now is playing with fire.

Interesting. I haven’t noticed any USPS shipment/mail issues in Indy in the last several months. This includes the shipment of an Enlightened Equipment down bag that arrived on schedule in January, the Winter BWJ issue showing up mid-January, and a number of other items. But maybe we are lucky. Our mail carrier is awesome, so maybe that helps.
