Curtain is spectacular in the Spring. But a couple of my favorite waterfalls are much smaller, are off the beaten path and don't have a name.

We have returned to Johnson Falls several times because we love it there.
Myrtle Falls and High Falls on the Namakan River have sentimental significance because it was my first trip. Just wrote about those in my trip report, so won't include photos here. Also Curtain falls.
Rose Falls at Stairway Portage is spectacular.
But I think sometimes the little ones are the loveliest. One of my favorites is this one at the portage from the creek to Ge-Be-On-e-Quet.

My favorites, in no particular order, are Curtain Falls, Louisa Falls and Chatterton Falls. Rebecca Falls is right there, too.

Not in the BW, but Hidden Falls at Nerstrand State Park is a special place for me. Spent a lot of time playing in those waters as a kid.
Taking my daughter to Johnson Falls in August this year via Clearwater. Really looking forward to adding that spot to my favorites list.
Sitting in the middle of High Falls at Tettegouche during a cloudless full-moon is also near the top of my favorites list.

You are all naming some beauties, naming places I haven't been in 30 years. Some look much better with a high volume of water. I did the Falls Chain during a high water June and many were impressive, some spectacular.
My favorites would have to be Johnson and Rebecca for the biggies, and Cattyman for the little ones.

Silver Falls in the spring is impressive.
Zoo:
I have and aunt and uncle living in Nerstrand, and I think one my cousins still lives around there. So I too was running around in that park as a kid. Hope we didn’t disturb any campers by playing Dirty Deeds, Problem Child, and Big Balls on the boom box.
