So every year my Father and I spend some time in his wood shop during Thanksgiving. This year we have started a canoe.

We got the cedar cut and the forms also cut. We are reusing a strongback from a Grey Owl that my dad built 4 or 5 years ago. The strongback will need to be lengthened a couple feet, but should work well.

Like your band saw set up, much more efficient than my table saw. My band saw is a table top model that just won't cut that long of a strip without the blade wandering.

Nice work. Glassing is a magical process. Even when you know what's going to happen it seems amazing.

Finally got to paddle the new stripper this past weekend on Farm Lake and into the Kawishiwi. Final weight is 48lbs with pads and brass bling ;)

I like your brass "bling".

Nice attention to detail and overall scheme.

Fine job !!!

As a builder, I tend to notice little things. One is your strongback legs.
Not only are you wise enough to put on casters, but made adjustments to level each one ! Again Fine build !
