The leaves at Oberg must have peaked quickly. We were there on the 19th and the color wasn’t that far along.

We got there and started up at about 10:15. There were about 20 cars in the lot, not too bad. When we cme down the lot was full and they were parking on the road. Must have been 50 - 60 cars. It was beautiful and the weather could not have been better.

custer, SD. 94 degrees with burning sun. record heat from last week. we had to scrap the backpacking, no way we could carry the amount of water we would have needed. i did teach my dog to pan for gold.

Beautiful! Nothing is that far along in Michigan yet. (at least the part of Michigan where we reside) We are going to Mackinac Island next Tuesday and I am hoping to see some nice color on that trip.

Amazing stuff. Some on here are just as good as the pros imo..

Seeing the fall colors of New England was on my wife's list of things to do during our trip back there. I enjoyed the display too.
The colors were everywhere but the White Mountains of New Hampshire showed them off the best during the 4th week of September.
