I’ve been there. Cool area. Am planning on doing that again or Willow flowage soon. TF is a pretty pristine spot. Very cool.

Nice report. I have thought of going to the area, but have not yet pulled the trigger. Your report has pushed me a little closer to heading up that way.

It is a pretty pristine spot. I had fun there on a solo. I recommend Willow Flowage also. That’s a cool setup. Go for it!

Spent a week every year at the TFF throughout my HS and college days. A lot of great memories from there. Its as close to the BWCA as Wisconsin can get. Great choice! The walleye fishing is great once you get familiar with it. Took us years though! Its a cool lake with a cool history with the tornado and all the logs/driftwood in there.

Looking for maps of the river/flowage and camp sites, both TFF and Willow. Anyone able to tell me where I can get them?
Thanks

The Wisconsin DNR has maps you can download of where they have campsites on both flowages. When you're there in person, all of the sites are numbered and are easily visible from the water. I suggest searching the message board for more insider info about the TFF. I'll link the message board and the map locations for you.
