The new overlook along 169 just west of Bear Head Lake State Park. Straightening out this section a couple of years back now provides a nice bonus at the top of a significant rise: a quick view of the lower areas to the north and east. Mile Marker 170 ??

Echo Trail on the way out for our Father-Sons trip in June 2020. The excitement on my 33 year old's face says it all!!

I can't believe it was just four weeks ago, heading up to the numbers chain for four beautiful relaxing nights on Rifle Lake.

That time in 2006 when I overheated near Black River Falls in Wisconsin and got towed to a shop in Whitehall where I waited to be picked up by my nephews in Superior so we could salvage the trip. After the trip I got a ride back down to my car where it was fixed and ready to go home to Chicago.
