First of all, I love this product. Second of all, I wouldn't purchase this product again. Sounds pretty screwy right? I trip with two other guys, and pretty soon we'll start bringing our boys. They Sawyer filtration system is lights out. However, buying this one for groups bigger than two people sucks. We have to transfer all of our clean water to MSR dromedary bags and then filter more. It doesn't take long, but it is pretty much a hassle transfering boatloads of "dirty water" through the dirty dromedary to the Sawyer, to the "clean" dromedary. Get the big one and enjoy more of your time in camp. Great system with a very good flow. 2 liters is just too small.

I bought this 2 liter version this Spring, and it performs flawlessly! It produces 2 liters of clean water in minutes. I did not experience any clogging issues, even when we filled it up on the shore line. I did add an in-line carbon filter element from Platypus because I did not know if there would be an odor or taste to the lake water.
We filled two cheap camel back bladders from the Sawyer so we always had a spare ready to go. I would suggest the 4 liter model like strom2127 said. When water is as easy to produce with this gravity filter, I think you tend to drink a little more!
