Not very comfortable for this paddler. Feel every pole when I sit on this.I do own two other tripod stools of a different brand. They are much more comfortable - either due to dimensions or perhaps the padding over the top of the three poles? I think they are a tad bit taller and definitely softer to sit on.
Who knows. In any case, this REI stool was nice and lightweight and appeared to be good quality, but I returned it as I'd never spend more than 2 minutes sitting on it in the woods.
