This is my new favorite go-to coffee for camping. I don't care for Starbucks in my everyday life, but when I am camping these little packs are the best. I've tried freeze dried/instant, real coffee using a jet boil coffee press, coffee bags (like tea). None of those coffees can compare to the flavor & convenience of the Via. The only ding I can give it is, it's expensive...but I only use it for camping, so it's a treat I am willing to pay more for. Decent coffee in the woods!! (Also zero clean up!!)

Unfortunately REI no longer sells these. I would consider myself a coffee snob but don't want to bring any extra equipment for brewing or making coffee. Just the clean up is a hassle. The packets are quick, and light. The Columbia roast is my favorite.

Starbucks Via is my go to hot beverage for camping. The single serve packets are ideal for making one large cup of coffee at a time. I just boil water and pour, the powder in the water, and give a couple of stirs. I prefer the Veranda blend, which is a light roast. Starbucks' dark roast tastes like burnt cardboard. Anyway, the Via packets are small and light and very convenient for short trips.
