At first glance when a buddy brought one of these along I told him if you carry it I don't care. His version was very old and dug out of his grandmas attic. After using it and getting used to how fast it can cook this little toaster comes on all my trips. Carrying bread is a little cumbersome but the toaster folds as flat as a plate and is pretty light. I'm not much for oatmeal so being able to have toast with those little restaurant jellys and jams right after I boil coffee water works great for us. No clean up, fold wires flat and pack.
