I've used several pairs of these mid weight socks for many years. They are tough and comfortable. Sometimes I'll pair them with polypropylene liner socks depending on the temperature and the boot I'm wearing. They air-dry reasonably quickly in warm weather. In the Quetico, I've worn them for wet-footing with Chota's Trekkers and the old OTB Abyss boots. Just rinse them at the end of the day and hang them to dry: this procedure eliminates stink.
