White Pine Lodge is a small, family owned and operated resort located on Poplar Lake, just off the historic Gunflint Trail in the Arrowhead Region of northeastern Minnesota. Originating in the early 1900’s, White Pine Lodge is one of five founding resorts on the Gunflint Trail. The main lodge has 2 large Rumsford fireplaces, casual seating with great views of the lake, a very large lakeside screened in porch, a bar, and a gift shop. Homemade, artisan pizza is available to order either fully baked or take n' bake. White Pine Lodge has 6 lakeside cabins available to rent. All cabins have modern amenities, including a full kitchen, and a 3/4 bath. Cabins are dog-friendly with a nightly pet fee. There are also 3 private lodge rooms in the main lodge with a 1-night minimum, perfect for before and after a Boundary Waters trip. All lodge rooms have a mini-fridge, microwave, and a private bath. There are 4 campsites with picnic tables and campfire rings. All Guest guests have access to bonfire pits, grills, and the main dock. A handcrafted sauna sits lakeside for guests to enjoy. Poplar Lake has 3 BWCA entry points and we offer free canoe, kayak, and paddleboard usage for guests. Fishing boats and pontoon available to rent as well as snowshoes in the winter.
