Trip Introduction:
Neither my wife nor myself had ever canoed, so why not do the virgin voyage
first class by doing the BWCA? We stayed at the Clearwater Lodge and portaged
to Duncan from Bearskin. What a rewarding trip to get the beauty of the lake, a
waterfall, cliffs, and view of Canada.
Report
With great guidance provided by Adam of Clearwater Lodge we had a superb first time canoeing across Bearskin and into the BWCA on Duncan. Hiked over to Rose Falls/lake and were treated to some wonderful views from the cliff where we had lunch.
