Lake - Perent lake is a medium sized lake on the south east of the BWCA. The entry point was in at Hog Creek (EP36) and was not an easy river to traverse. Shallow lake with lots of walleyes and northern in it that are only a bobber and leech away from shore.

Campsite - We stayed on the western end kind of in the middle of the lake on the south side of the point. The campsite had 2 tents spots that we managed to fit 3 tents in. It was not very big but there was plenty of firewood laying around and the latrine was in a small meadow area.

Fishing - The fishing was very good when we went. Caught all of our fish casting off shore with a bobber and a leech. One of our members hooked a monster pike that we were not able to land without a net. I actually jumped in the water to grab it by the gills and it spit the hook out before I could get my hand in it. I also caught a sucker fish -.-
