That site on Gaskin is a real peach! My wife & I were there last fall. Must've been quite a welcome surprise that you encountered so few people in that relatively popular area?"

Very much so. A pleasant surprise indeed. I will say there were a couple of times that people passed by our camp well after we were settled in but we never met anyone on a portage trail or out on a lake while traveling. I believe a real desire to get up early and be on the water way before others and usually finding a camp site by 10:30 to noon plays a big role in this happening. However, we have done this in the past and still run into others so I can't explain exactly what happened this time around. I'll take it though. Thanks.
