Saw this in the Listening Point. Might I suggest some line breaks? It's nearly impossible to read long reports as one giant wall of text.

Thank you for sharing your experience and glad to hear how you worked through the emergency to make as good a trip as possible for everyone. Prayers to your wife's cousin for continued recovery and best health going forward. Blessings to you all as you process and reflect.

Sorry this was my fault. We have worked through most of the issues.

What a harrowing experience. It sounds like the critical decision making and first aid was quality. These experiences can be so formative for the young folks too. Best plans laid and then reality as they say. Glad everyone is “ok” and this made for a good read. Thank you for sharing.

I am so happy you are all ok. A few reactions:
1. You were exceptionally well-prepared through your thoughtful trip pre-planning. You offer good info for us all on how to prepare, both for every/any trip and in the context of the specific participants' needs.
2. You made good decisions. It's good for me (us) to reflect on how you handled the situation as it unfolded and evolved.
3. In the past you committed to self-education on first aid, etc. Even if you were feeling "rusty" in the face of a crisis, that prior investment helped you and the person experiencing the seizure when you all needed it most.
4. We all benefit from the exceptional dedication and training of our first responders. No matter how much we think we appreciate them, it's not enough. They are men and women who put their own selves at risk (and give up their own time and personal priorities) responding when and where we need them in our moments of greatest need.
I'm glad you posted this and found it to be very helpful. Thank you.
