Trip Introduction:
This is the first trip I'm doing after the passing of my Dad this summer. Don't know that there's any particular significance to that fact other than to say he was on/in my heart & mind throughout. While I've been in and around this area countless times, I'd never paddled East Pike so I wanted to see that lake. While in the process, try to get up to a couple of brook trout lakes in the area and try our luck. The lingering fall colors were an unexpected added bonus.
