Entry Point 23 - Mudro Lake

Mudro Lake entry point allows overnight paddle only. This entry point is supported by Kawishiwi Ranger Station near the city of Ely, MN. The distance from ranger station to entry point is 19 miles. Three accesses into Mudro Lake involve portages ranging from 20–185 rods.Easiest access is from private la nd with parking fee.

Nice report. It is so awesome you can teach young people about the outdoors and since you are connected to a faith the life the wonders of God's creation.

Thanks for the report. The weather is like a box of chocolates, you never know what you're going to get. We've just formed a group at our church called "Crossing Boomers" and we've got some interest in a church BWCA trip. If we decide to do it I'll send you and email to get some insight on how to make it successfull.

Our church does an annual trip (usually Brule-Sawbill area) each June Always a great time of fellowship regardless of weather>
