Jonathan,
Very nice trip. I love the fact that you did this first trip to the bwca as a solo. That in itself is awesome. You learn a lot about yourself on solo's. Nice story, nice pics, Great memories.
Now you will have to do a group trip, and see which you like the best?
Welcome to the Wilderness.

Gtreat trip report, Jon! Thanx for sharing.

Joy is a great teacher, but so is dispair. Wonder is a great teacher, but so is confusion. Hope is a great teacher, but so is disillusionment. And life is a great teacher, but so is death. To deny yourself any of those in any aspect is not experiencing life totally.

Thanks for your report, Jonathan. Planning my first solo into Mudro next year about the same time you went in this year. Appreciate the tip about leaving a good campsite when the wind is not favorable. Sounds like you had a good trip; you're probablly planning for next year already! Thanx again for the nice, inspirational report.

Nice trip report! I really dislike strong winds on the open water. I would rather deal with rain!
