Once again nice work Kip! Cross Bay to Poplar is on my "want" list for my possible first solo this summer.

Nice report. I just did the same trip except I went from Omega through Henson & Allen to Horseshoe. I took my time and laid over, explored a little, and just soaked in the beautiful weather and fall foliage.

Thanks guys. If I have the chance to do this route again, I would slow down a bit. Could have spent more time on Winchell and climbed the cliffs on the south end. Probably visit Vista Lake. Not sure I would camp on Gaskin again given the nicer sites on Winchell and Horsehose. Really cool area.

I love your stories about your Daughter. I always read them and take mental notes for myself and my 2 boys. Thanks!
