The distance from ranger station to entry point is 15 miles. Access the North Kawishiwi River through Ojibway Lake and Triangle Lake using two portages.

Had a decent time. It was great being out in the wilderness alone with my husband, no kid, no dogs, just silence. Not completely sure that winter camping is my jam, but pushing our limits and trying new things are good for a person now and again.
