Trip Introduction:
My 14-year-old grandson Noah and I entered at East Bearskin and intended on camping a few nights on Alder then a few nights on Canoe Lake. We didn't get the campsite we wanted on Canoe, so we basecamped on Alder.
We planned on daytrips to Johnson Falls and Spaulding Mine. Due to rain we never made it to Spaulding Mine, but we did have a great time exploring the Johnson Falls area. It was my 3rd vist, but it was still as impressive as ever!
