Where's the best place to camp before entering BW through North Fowl/Entry 70? The book lists McFarland but you can't make reservations and we don't want to risk not having a campsite the day before...any suggestions?

I know this is an old post, but people may still be curious. I'm at the McFarland campground pretty regularly. It's rare to see any of the sites occupied, and I've never seen it completely full. I'd be surprised if you ever had any trouble getting a site.
