Trip Introduction:
We have been planning this scouting adventure for about 2 years, with 1 year of preparation. We arrived at Rockwood Lodge Outfitters on Saturday night in preparation for our Sunday Journey.
Day 1 of 6
Sunday, June 10, 2018 We hit Poplar Lake around 7:30 AM and headed out. On portage from Caribou to Horseshoe had a member of the crew twist their ankle. This altered our planned route to Gaskin and picked a site on Horseshoe. Site was on the end of the peninsula and was very windy. But was worth staying at.~Poplar Lake, Lizz Lake, Caribou Lake, Horseshoe Lake

Day 5 of 6
Thursday, June 14, 2018 Up early in preparation for breaking camp and heading to Caribou. Knew storms were coming in on Friday, so we wanted a closer portage to the exit. Found a good site on Caribou and spent a good time swimming and enjoying the sites. ~Gaskin Lake, Horseshoe Lake, Caribou Lake

Day 6 of 6
Friday, June 15, 2018 Up at 5AM to try and get out ahead of storms. Was not able and had to shelter in place till storms passed around 9AM. Headed out on smooth lake but with rain. Upon entry on to Poplar, wind picked up. Reached Rockwood Lodge about 20 minutes ahead of stronger winds and heavy fog. All in all, a great trip. ~Caribou Lake, Lizz Lake, Poplar Lake
