Entry Point 14 - Little Indian Sioux River North

Little Indian Sioux River (north) entry point allows overnight paddle only. This entry point is supported by La Croix Ranger Station near the city of Ely, MN. The distance from ranger station to entry point is 32 miles. Access is a 40-rod portage heading North from the Echo Trail.

Thanks, I enjoyed your report - hearing about the preparations and review. It seems like you had a successful first run in the BW (too bad about the others) and learned a couple of things. I'm glad it turned out well for you. I'm sure you'll have many more good trips. Some very nice video and pictures.

Nice report. Good prep.....you were ready. Now plan about a 50 mile trip for 2018 and really see some country!

Thanks, I was ready for another trip as soon as I got back. Looking forward to the next one

Yeah, I feel like this was the shake down trip for the next adventure. The original plan was a 50 miler but we adjusted as we lost some of the group. It was a relaxing trip for sure!
