Trip Introduction:
Had some trouble with cold/windy/wet weather the first week. Caught lots of pike in the 15-25 inch range on everything we threw from the boulder river to La Croix. Smallies and Walleyes were slow the first week. Second week action picked up on Iron for smallies on jerk baits, weightless worms, and small crank baits. Some nice Walleyes while fishing for smallies on Iron as well on same lures. Top water bite was hot one day on Rush Lake midday on Zara Spooks. Stewart as always good for walleye with leeches on bluffs in about 10 feet of water on the bottom. I LEFT MY CAMERA IN A CAMO BAG at the entry point (Moose River North #16) on my way out. Please call me if you pick it up or have any info. 937 681 9262 -Brian
