Entry Point 27 - Snowbank Lake
Snowbank Lake entry point allows overnight paddle or motor (25 HP max). This entry point is supported by Kawishiwi Ranger Station near the city of Ely, MN. The distance from ranger station to entry point is 24 miles. Access is a boat landing or canoe launch at Snowbank Lake. Many trip options for paddlers. This area was affected by blowdown in 1999.

Trip Introduction:
This is a remake my 2008 YouTube slide show by converting it to 4K, adding maps and re-editing the images. I also included some shots that I haven't previously shared.
The 2008 trip started at Kawishiwi Lake and we headed north to Adams Lake. We also camped on Lake Polly, Malberg and Kawasachong... beautiful route!
Note that Kawasachong and part of Lake Polly were affected by the 2011 Pagami Creek fire since these images were made.
