Kawishiwi Lake entry point allows overnight paddle only. This entry point is supported by Tofte Ranger Station near the city of Isabella; Tofte, MN. The distance from ranger station to entry point is 33 miles. Access is a boat landing at Kawishiwi Lake.

Trip Introduction:
My daughter, her husband and 3 kids (ages 8-10) had little experience camping and had not been to the Boundary Waters before, so this was their introductory trip. We spent 4 days exploring from Sawbill Lake, and had a blast! This trip report is a link to the 11 minute YouTube slide show.
