Glad that tree missed everyone.

Regarding your last sentence in your report. I firmly believe that every trip is the perfect trip.

Thanks for posting.

We all have to believe in something. I believe I'll go paddle.

Those bad weather trips are the ones that are most memorable! I'm interested in the logistics of this trip since I might want to do a BWCA/Quetico combined trip in the future. Did you have to use an RABC to cross into Canada? Were the Quetico permit fees and Canadian fishing license worth it for just one day of fishing?

Thank you for sharing the trip report. I stayed on that site the week before you and none of the trees near the tent areas looked suspicious. Glad you are all ok. Mark and the Anderson team are great to work with.

To cross and fish Canada you need a RABC, sportsman's card and fishing license. You can camp on the BWCA side and daytrip as long as you have RABC.

We had all permits. For us it was worth it.
